Delete your InReelRoom account

Use this page to request deletion of your InReelRoom account and the personal data associated with it.

Delete directly in the app

If you can still access your account, the quickest option is to delete it from InReelRoom:

Open InReelRoom.
Go to Profile.
Open Privacy.
Select Account Data.
Select Delete Account.
Complete the confirmation steps shown in the app.

Request deletion from the web

If you cannot access the app, submit the email address associated with your InReelRoom account below. We may contact you to verify ownership before completing the request.

What will be deleted

After your request is verified and processed, data associated with your account may include:

Your account and profile information.
Your profile image and account preferences.
Authentication sessions and registered devices.
Notification registrations associated with your account.
Favorites, watchlist entries, ratings and watched-movie history associated with your account.
Follow relationships and other account-specific social information.
Other personal data that is no longer required to provide the service.

Some room messages, reactions, comments, votes, or other content shared with other users may be retained in a de-identified form where necessary to preserve conversation or community history. Where retained, identifying account information will be removed or replaced with a designation such as Deleted User.

Information that may be retained

We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud and abuse prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our terms.

Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are automatically overwritten or deleted as part of normal backup operations.
